MIG Welding (Metal Inert Gas Welding) was developed for welding aluminium and other metals. It is a process in which a wire is connected to a direct current, which acts as an electrode to join two pieces of metal as it is passed through a welding gun.
This allows metal to be welded quickly and effectively. It also produces very clean welding with very little splatter, aiding the safety of our welders, as well as being able to be used with a variety of metals and alloys.
Its ability to produce clean welds offers us and our customers a lot of advantages. It means that aesthetically, whether it be the steelwork for a building or a repair on a car, it will look a lot better than traditional welding techniques.
All of our welding is fully coded. Different types of weld, positions and materials each have their own code, and to be fully coded means we have passed an inspection of our welds in each particular code.
